Premium Bark Free Clean Burn Oak Wedges

As a result of our onsite oak beam sawmilling service we create many heartwood offcuts (without bark and minimal sapwood) from cutting beams to length. Traditionally those offcuts were all burned in our biomass boilers once kiln dried. However due to increased oak beam production and therefore offcut availability we are now in a position to supply this high end product direct to our customers.

Log lengths will vary between 100 and 250mm.

Oak is a very dense and highly calorific firewood in it's natural form, probably the longest lasting of all domestic hardwoods once kiln dried. When all sapwood and bark is excluded and heartwood only is used it becomes peerless. 

No other domestic hardwood will throw out as much heat for as long as these top notch logs. 

Perfect for cooking - with all the associated oak smoke benefits, heating and can be used on open fires and woodburning appliances with equal success. 

There are limited supplies of this top end product  so why not take advantage while it is available. The ability to double up for a much lower price is also currently available. 

These bulk bags are delivered on a burnable wooden pallet usually by an 18-tonne or a larger sized vehicle to your kerbside, therefore please ensure that you are able to accommodate and accept deliveries from vehicles of this size. Should you require a smaller vehicle for delivery, please contact us to ensure we can facilitate this for you.

For ease when building your fire, we recommend our boxes/nets of kindling and our Ecofire Natural Firelighters.
